Jan Baker and daughter Amy Turinsky started Glazed & Blazed in June of 2004. Glazed & Blazed is a paint your own pottery studio, where we encourage you to unleash the artist inside. We offer a wide variety of ceramic pieces to paint as well as large selection of paints, brushes, stamps, stencils and idea books. Glazed & Blazed is a great place for a party, just a quiet day with your family or by yourself. We are now located in downtown Marblehead surrounded by unique shops, dining and other local artists.
Over the past few years we have grown our business from just “paint your own pottery” to offer more Art by Amy our line of finished ware and custom order pieces, which include birthday plates, wedding platters, and one of a kind designs. Art by Amy pieces can be viewed and purchased at our studio located in downtown Marblehead or click on "Shop". We also offer a variety of other fun and beautiful gifts.
